Blogging has exploded in recent years. It's not like a new phenomenon, at least in relative terms, because in reality has existed since the origins World Wide Web. But what has changed is that blogs are seen as a main tool, and therefore, is increasingly used by companies to promote themselves. In some ways this is good because it means that consumers are increasingly more and more information on products and services they use so regular. However, on the other side of it, has served to cushion some of the more unusual and eccentric blogs used to be the rule rather than the exception. In a sense, is a philosophical dilemma that struggle for the heart and soul of what blogs really are. And it serves to ask the question, What is blogging? Is it just an exercise Shopping? Or does strike at the heart of what the Internet really is. That is, the data purely for information itself. No matter how strange it may be …
One of the greatest examples of a purely commercial rare, no blogs blog experience was the Battle Star Gallactica. Guess what this is all about? Yes, Battlestar Gallactica's blog that tries to bring more wonderful science fiction programs directly to the masses. It does this with an eclectic mix of information on the program, its stars, and the arguments that kept us all glued to our seats over the years. And yet, it was with great regret that I recently read the official Battlestar Blog Blog Gallactica leave! And in a way, this highlights the problem with blogs. In essence, the reason it is a battle of Star Blog Gallactica was closing the store, was because its main author (a man named Trapper) simply had no time to maintain it. What with family, work and other businesses on the web. Nightmare!
One of the great things about blogging is how easy it is to do with it that requires no great technical expertise, since most of platforms Blogs are created to be easy to use. But what is required is the commitment, time, and in order to succeed a lot of passion he has to say. Internet is becoming increasingly competitive, so if someone will listen to what really has to say about a topic, then you need to constantly provide great information that people want to read. In essence, the Internet has not changed. It is a means of content, pure and simple. And if you provide great content, and may do a lot minimum market, then people start to tell each other about it.
The only problem with this dichotomy is that just as something can be easy to configure, it can be easy to let it die. In a way, the blog of Battle Star Gallactica was a victim of its own success. Its author was much to say on the subject, which obviously was overwhelmed by the extent that they interfere with his real life! Oh well! Another one bites the dust;)
