Buck Creek

Buckinghamshire (also called Bucks) is a non-metropolitan county of origin in southeast England and its county town is Aylesbury. The largest city in this county ceremonial is Milton Keynes.

The area under the control of the Buckinghamshire County Council, or (Shire County), is distributed in four districts, Chiltern, Aylesbury Vale, Wycombe and South Bucks. The City of Milton Keynes is a government authority and forms a part of the county for many functions, as Lord Lieutenant. Are not under the control of County Council. The ceremonial county, the whole area of the municipality including Milton Keynes, shares its borders with Berkshire, Bedfordshire, Greater London, Oxfordshire, Hertfordshire and Northamptonshire.

The name of the county of Buckinghamshire is basically in the original Anglo-Saxon and means "the District of Bucca's Home ". Home Bucca is synonymous with Buckingham in the north of this county, and it derives its name from an Anglo-Saxon landowner. The name of this county has existed since the 12th century.

The history of this area, however, predates the Anglo-Saxon period and this county has a rich and colorful history from the Roman and Celtic and the Anglo-Saxons probably had the biggest impact on the geography of Buckinghamshire. This rural county is much as it was during the Anglo-Saxon era.

In later times, However, Buckinghamshire became a significant political space, with aid of King Henry VIII in local politics during the 16th century and a century later English Civil War erupted in mid-Bucks, which was initiated by John Hampden.

In the 19th century the greatest change in the county came when cholera and famine struck the rural region simultaneously, forcing many to flee to the cities to find work to survive.

The economic outlook changed local and meant a lot of land prices were getting cheaper, this was a time when the wealthy became more mobile and the Bucks became like a rural idyll, an image that still exists today. Daily commuters in London, often fall in Buckinghamshire, which affects a large influx of local, but still some pockets of family adversity remains.

The county is geographically divided into two sections. The southern side runs from the River Thames up the gentle slopes of the Chiltern Hills, the most sudden and abrupt slopes on the north side leading to the Vale of Aylesbury, a large piece of flat land and huge, including the route of the River Great Ouse.

Outside the three largest rivers in Britain, this county has two. Thames shares the border south by Berkshire, which has grown over its border at Eton and Slough in the sense that the river is no longer the only border between the two counties. The River Great Ouse begins right on the border of Northamptonshire and begins to flow eastward through Buckingham, Milton Keynes and Olney.

The main tributary that belongs to the Grand Union Canal flows through this town like its coves Aylesbury, Slough, Wendover (not in use) and Buckingham (not used). The channel has been merged in Milton Keynes.

The two highest points are Coombe Hill near Wendover, and Haddington Hill in Wendover Woods, Buckinghamshire, near Wendover. A 267 m (876 ft) above sea level, there is a stone to mark the summit.

Buckinghamshire has an area governed by Milton Keynes Borough Council. Also managed by Buckinghamshire County Council. This ceremonial county has a sheriff and a deputy Lord. In modern times the Sheriff of Buckinghamshire's Amanda Nicholson and Lord Lieutenant of Buckinghamshire is Sir Henry Aubrey-Fletcher. Since 1702, the Custodian Rotulorum was added to the duties of Lord Lieutenant.

The County Council was founded in 1889, with its reliance on municipal buildings in Walton Street, Aylesbury (which still exists there). Local government is administered in a two-tier system in Buckinghamshire, which means that public services are separated from the county council and a number of district councils.

The Council has moved to new locations in the 1960s: one of 15 plants very high block in the heart of Aylesbury (pictured above) designed by the architect Thomas Pooley. It is said that one of the most hated and unpopular buildings in Buckinghamshire. It now appears Grade II listed building.

The northern part of Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, in the district were separated in 1997, to form a government authority, however for some celebrations and some other effects, Milton Keynes, is still regarded as part of Buckinghamshire.

The County Council is a major employer and provider in Buckinghamshire of a variety of services, including social services, education (schools, adult education and youth services), libraries, county records and Record Office, roads, County Museum and Roald Dahl Gallery of children in Aylesbury. All of these services to consumers and some other aspects such as planning and the elimination waste.
