There is a violent crime every 22 seconds, 24 hours a day in the U.S.
In 2000 there were over fifteen thousand murders, almost two per hour!
A murder occurs every 34 minutes.
90,187 rapes by force, every six minutes!
More than 3,600 aggravated assaults and robberies every day! One of every 24 seconds!
49,000 car hijackings and attempted car-jacking!
A burglary every 15.4 seconds!
In 2000, 2.8% of women victims of rape in college six months U.S. Justice Department study.
As you can see that we live in a society not very safe these days and not getting any better. Just watch the news every day and tell you that the crime is increasing and we should all be looking over his shoulder. Everyone is at risk of being involved in any threatening situation. If you are in this situation, you know it enough defense tactics to survive?
Crime is an equal opportunity employer, non-discrimination. It starts with children at school and goes all the way to adults. Are you a parent with young children in school? Schools have changed dramatically since you and I were 20 years ago. Children in school today have to face the situation of bully and peer pressure as well. School thugs are moving rapidly from elementary school. Are your children able to protect themselves in this type of environment? That is what all parents should ask themselves and be truthful about what they want for their children. That their children should be sure they can protect themselves at all times. The same goes for adults too. Trust is the best way out of many attacks. If it looks and feels like a victim then you become a victim.

Here are some simple tips you can use while learning self-defense tactics.
1. Eyes: Use your fingers and begin to put the eyes of her attacker. You should then be able to run to a safer area and get help.
2. In the groin: Eject or beating a man in the groin is often though, as a taboo. I would advise the reader however, that there are few self-defense tactics that are as effective as this.
3. Car keys: car keys are a great weapon to use. Keep your keys between your index finger and thumb and use a swinging motion and the target face from his attacker. The keys act as small knife blades and can do some real damage.
4. Kicking: Home screaming and kicking, anywhere can especially in the groin or in the shins. Taking the heel of your foot and sliding down the shin is very painful and will stop most attackers. At this point you should be able to escape and seek help. Remember that the attackers do not like the attention to the so screaming is one of the best defenses you have.
These are just some simple tips but they are not a substitute for tactics knowledge great defense. If you want to feel safe and confident that you need to learn to defend themselves.
