So, not being on TV as much as most people, a friend had seen True Blood Season 1 on HBO and she knew that I wanted so I said vampires I had to get this series when released on DVD. Well, I found a good price in a boxed set and I knew I had to pick it up and watch. I read only the summary film on the back and knew I really wanted to own this DVD set.

When I got home I started to watch in amazement. I really can not stand how stupid some movies portray vampires, almost like cartoon characters who are not real. What really attracted me to this series and kept me coming back for more were the characters that are real and brave and not the monsters you see in the 1930's werewolf, vampire, Frankenstein movies. They were modern people living real life. Vampires are openly discriminated against and are vampires who drink synthetic blood and its mode of installation in

The same ideas we have about the old vampire movie is against these guys too. They need blood, but do not have to kill for it. There are tons of synthetic blood available in the vampire bars, and socialization too. Some people do not accept them. Others want to go to his bones. There are plenty of citations between vampires and ordinary people. This causes some complications of interest in life.

The DVD has extras that are very fun to watch. I always enjoy these little "making of" stories sometimes get. Features a bonus bit too juicy. The books were so nice that it was no surprise how well the show is. It's the little things that really attracted me. The girl is a waitress and has to deal with all types of customers. She visits and advice from friends and avoids fairyesque werewolves, because they are something of a bad mood among other things.

I love to read, and that was one of my favorite stories in a series is just a murderer. You do not have to be freaky for vampires like it. If you thought Twilight had promised and wished you could have gone to Hogwarts school then this is the series of adult you've been waiting for.
